Swahili African Modern works with artisans in rural parts of Bolgatanga, Ghana to create beautifully handcrafted items like this basket out of local elephant grass which is dried into straw, hand-dyed, and woven using traditional basketweaving techniques.
The basket can be reshaped - this can be easily done by wetting the basket and molding it to the shape you desire!
